Autumn & winter 2016 trends @ Katie Kerr
It is that exciting time of year when new autumn collections arrive at Katie Kerr. We've already written about Masai trends this season in "Spots on Trend" and we thought it would be nice to give a little sneak peak at our other favourite brands and their design and colours for this Autumn.
This season will bring an interesting combination of monochrome colours which so beautifully complement rich autumn tones - you can expect to see deep orange, purples and reds. Masai, Ilse Jacobsen and Sahara use these colours in beautiful prints and textures. To complement our classic spots, stripes and checks we're introducing rich floral prints from Part Two, Sahara and 'new to us' brand Mes Souers Et Moi for a more contemporary look.
In Autumn fabrics always play a big role in keeping us warm whilst at the same time looking fashionable, elegant and sophisticated. Innovations and improvements in fabric blends are introduced continuously. This season we will see classic wools, cottons, linens as well as silk and linen blends and velvet and viscose presented with patterns to effect.
Out of Xile bring luxurious floral and leaf effects this season - perfect for winter and a great choice for those of you who prefer colour tones rather than bold prints. As each delivery arrives we're becoming more and more excited.... we hope you are too!
